The latte is one of the most iconic espresso drinks, favored for its frothy foam topping. In this refreshing iced version, you can easily create foam with cold milk—no steamer needed. Here’s how.
Recipe: Iced Latte at Home
1 cup ice
4 oz espresso, such as Starbucks® Espresso Roast
¾ cup whole milk
sweetener of choice, such as vanilla or classic syrup (optional)
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add espresso. Pour milk and sweetener of choice, if desired, into a mason jar. Be sure to stop when the jar is no more than ¾ full to ensure the milk froths. Seal the lid tightly. Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds. Pour milk and foam into the glass. Enjoy.
