My favorite of the decaf pods as there are only two.
Wish there were more decaffeinated pods.
I don't know how you do it Starbucks. This coffee is really and truley good to the last drop!
This medium roast decaf coffee is the best tasting blend for the Verismo machine.
Husband preferred Pour Overs at home then at Starbucks until he had Pike's from Verismo Pods. He thinks his drink is incredibly smooth and repeatedly compliments me on it. I can't take credit. It's all the Pod!
this is the only decaf coffee offered in verismo form, so i drink it daily. i'm not ecstatic regarding the flavour, i'd prefer french or verona or darker, but it's perfectly ok so i'd still recommend it .
On Dr's orders my husband should only drink decaf, he has 2-4 cups a day.
The Pike Place Roast is OK, but I wish that Starbucks offered at least one other decaf blend, e.g. Verona.
It seems that Verismo coffee is not selling well because
3 places we tried to get it from, including direct from
Starbucks via online order, had either out-of-date
coffee or close to expiration date. We ordered direct
from Starbucks and received several boxes that were to expire in 2 weeks. We called them and they said that we could place another order but that they could not guarantee that the date would be better! Since we
could not consume that much in 2 weeks we sent most of it back. We think the Verismo coffee maker does a very good job and there needs to be more emphasis on
the coffee pods. The grocery store we go to has a
Starbucks in it but they do not sell the Verismo pods or
stock them in the store. What's up with that?
The coffee is great, but the last few boxes have had pods which are very slow to brew or pump water through. They also burst sometimes and push grounds into the cup.
I too don't understand why you don't offer decaf pods in your stores. I have also had problems with the pod bursting during brewing and have a partial cup of grounds. Not good. I do love the coffee when it works right though.
