To-Go Tumbler with Sleeve - Currant, 8 fl oz
Our favorite travel cup!
My wife purchased one several months ago while on a road trip. Two great plusses: your lips touch a ceramic rim, not metal or plastic; and hot liquids are not in constant contact with plastic, so no plastic taste leaching into drink. We have just bought a second one to avoid fighting for possession of the preferred container.
Notes: 1. This is not a vacuum container. Drinks will not be incredibly hot two hours later. Works fine for consumption within a reasonable amount of time. 2. The lids do not bottom out on the lower inner rim. They do seal very well, even if pressed down slightly askew. With initial level placement, and a practiced hand with balanced pressure, a pleasing and functional lid installation can be accomplished in 2 seconds. 3. The lid dissembles easily for thorough cleaning. Be sure to reassemble with the slider in its original orientation, not rotated 180 degrees.
(A note to Starbucks - another color option would be appreciated by two cup families.)
After years of traveling with all sorts of travel mugs, this is the one we both reach for.

I thought this cup was great when I first got it but after a couple of days the lid kept coming off. I could not seal it so I do not use the lid or the cup any longer. It is a waste of your hard earned money. I would not RECOMMEND this product to my friends or family!!

Terrible Design Flaw
I wanted a Tall cup for refills because I couldn't drink all of my Grandes, and since the prices on coffee were raised recently, this was just cost effective.
This cup stinks. The lid will not seat properly, and every morning commute is an adventure. I brew my own for the road, and hit the Starbucks a few miles from my job for a refill. During one of these refills, the staff commented on how nice the cup was, and I brought up the lid issue. One of the Baristas mentioned they had the same problem with their cup, and we tried to figure out ways to fix the problem. We couldn't come up with anything. Sometimes it seals great, other times, it's impossible. Which leads me to believe that we're just not doing it right.
I don't have an answer- other than, don't buy this cup. It's way too much of a hassle than what it was worth.

A travel coffee mug
This mug is just like taking your favorite coffee mug with you, it just doesn't spill like it. I am enjoying my tumbler and would recommend it.

Lid doesn't stay on
I have had this cup for about a week. Took it camping. I had used one of a friend's and had no problems with it, so I decided to invest in three of them...one for myself, one for my Mom and one for my Husband. None of the lids go on straight. And when you put them on, they don't stay down on the cup, they pop up. Also, the coffee doesn't stay warm very long, which I expected in a ceramic mug....
