Delicious I love this tea . I believe it is over priced and am paying more for container than amount of tea receive. Flavor is great!! February 19, 2015
AMAZING! Wonderful tea, the freshness smells up the entire house, and it is a lovely scent to start your day too! February 13, 2015
The Best Chai This is my very favorite Chai Tea.... I strongly recommend it if you haven't tried it yet. January 26, 2015
Tasty Blend for a Good Cause Rather unorthodox, this interesting tea is a genius infusion of cinnamon - by which we mean to say cassia - along with carob, rooibos, and chicory root. Presumably, cassia oil has been added to give the cinnamon-heart boost that makes this blend unique. As one reviewer put it, it "tastes like big red gum". That said, it is certainly NOT chai in the traditional sense. The ginger is there, but is overwhelmed by the stronger spices mentioned above. Cardamom, cloves, even cinnamon - are all notably absent because they are overshadowed by those prominent flavours... In summary? It's great, but please for the love of God, bring back our delicately balanced Tazo Chai, with all its peppery goodness. #BringBackTazoChai January 17, 2015
Don't like the new Oprah chai tea I've been drinking chai tea for 10 years...I really don't like this new Oprah flavor. Way too much spice...leaves a bad after taste. January 11, 2015

Oprah chai teavana loose leaf tea

By Sue

from La

Tastes great but packaging is big but the amount of tea could have been put in a container about a fifth of the size.

This is NOT Chai

By Julesb

from San Diego

Tastes like red hots candy, nothing like real chai tea. Has an overwhelming artificial cinnamon flavor, I threw it out because it was not drinkable. I used to order a Tazo chai latte (with tea bags not the syrup). When they changed to Teavana teas I quit buying tea at Starbucks and stuck to espresso. I decided to give the Teavana a try this week and got the Oprah chai, very disappointed.

I LOVE It, but...

By TeaTime

from Washington, DC

This tea is SO delicious and flavorful. The bold spicy aroma adds to the overall delightful experience. My only complaint is, I wish this was sold to consumers in tea bags so that I don't have to resort to making a cup of tea in the same manner as folks who lived in the 16th century ;-).

There is so much cinnamon in this tea that nothing else comes through. Not tea, not cardamom, not ginger, not pepper, nothing else. Just cinnamon. I like cinnamon fine but this is completely unbalanced.
