At the end of a shaded trail, will you choose the sauna or the hot spring?

Linger in the pure, steam-fired broth of this first-flush green tea thinking clear, peaceful thoughts. Like watching mist rise off a thermal spring, hidden behind a wooded glen and only accessible by trampoline.

Green Tea

The liquor of a green tea is typically a green or yellow color, and flavors range from toasty, grassy (pan-fired teas) to fresh and streamed greens (steamed teas) with mild astringency.

Did You Know?

Tazo® China Green Tips is made from a tea known as Mao Feng, which in Chinese translates loosely as "hair tip" — an apt description of the twisted and rolled dry leaf.

Tasting Notes Grassy, vegetative, sweet rice.

For Best Brewing

  1. Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil at 175F (80c) and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Pour 8 fl oz (236 ml) of water over the sachet in your cup.
  3. Let it steep for 3 minutes. Wait patiently for perfection.

Fantastic green tea

By Anthony51

from Atlanta, GA, USA

If you're looking for a truly amazing, great tasting Green tea, then you've found it! I love this tea, helps to relax me and out of all the other green tea's I've tried, this is by far the best one! To bad you can't find it in the Starbuck stores, but at least it's still online for now.

China Green Tips

By Suzzel

from Florida

I love the Tazo Teas but my favorite is China Green Tips. Just a great green tea without the mint as nothing needs to be added to make this tea enjoyable. Can't get it in the stores anymore so I am stocking up for home.

Love this Tea!

By amandie

from Seattle, WA, USA

I love this tea - purchased over 25 tins as gifts for my morning tea ceremony for my wedding, but was slightly disappointed when more then half of the tins were dented when they arrived. Other then that issue, the tea has great flavor!

Best-tasting Commercial Green Tea

By karolinebratsj

from Austin

Very often the green teas that I try in bags are just not very...well... green tea-tasting. They lack that grassy, bright flavor. However, the China Tips Green Tea hits on the mark with a great clean green taste that is balanced between bitter and sweet (if you don't over-steep it!).

Subtle and boring

By mikahsargent

from Columbia, MO

See all my reviews

This tea isn't quite the "lively" tea they mention in the description. It's subtle, and a bit boring. It's tea, it tastes fine, and it goes great with breakfast. It's just green tea, not much else.
