At the end of a shaded trail, will you choose the sauna or the hot spring?

Linger in the pure, steam-fired broth of this first-flush green tea thinking clear, peaceful thoughts. Like watching mist rise off a thermal spring, hidden behind a wooded glen and only accessible by trampoline.

Green Tea

The liquor of a green tea is typically a green or yellow color, and flavors range from toasty, grassy (pan-fired teas) to fresh and streamed greens (steamed teas) with mild astringency.

Did You Know?

Tazo® China Green Tips is made from a tea known as Mao Feng, which in Chinese translates loosely as "hair tip" — an apt description of the twisted and rolled dry leaf.

Tasting Notes Grassy, vegetative, sweet rice.

For Best Brewing

  1. Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil at 175F (80c) and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Pour 8 fl oz (236 ml) of water over the filterbag in your cup.
  3. Let it steep for 3 minutes. Wait patiently for perfection.

Leaves vs Tips

By Micxter

from Undisclosed

I must say I was quite disappointed after receiving what turned out to be an imitation of the China Green Tip Filterbag from Starbucks. The actual leaves where far different than that of Starbucks. That said, I was not pleased with my order. The assumption in reviewing the image and description is that you would be receiving the exact China Green "Tip" Tea from Starbucks but it is not. Obviously, the filtered "Tips"themselves makes all the difference as the flavor is somewhat different.

I love the flavor of this green tea. It is simple and not over powering. I only wish they still sold the tea bags in our local stores :(

this tea would be fantastic if only it was full leaf. I purchased it not realizing it was just dust in tiny paper bags... so sad. it had so much potential.

Love this green tea!

By RoseTeacup

This tea smells like fresh cut grass and is delicious. I also drink it in loose leaf form. I wish this was available in our area grocers but so far I'm only able to find Tazo Awake and Tazo Zen, which I also love.
