Each coffee requires slightly different amounts of time and temperature during the roasting process to create a cup at its peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor. We classify our coffees in three roast profiles so you can easily find your desired flavor and intensity.

  • Blonde: Blonde-roasted coffees have a shorter roast time, lighter body and mellow flavors.
  • Medium: Medium-roasted coffees are balanced with smooth and rich flavors.
  • Dark: Dark-roasted coffees feature a fuller body and robust, bold flavors.

Wonderful tasting coffee The quality and taste of the via coffees are equal to the brewed when I need to make only a cup not a pot of coffee. October 4, 2014
Changed Recipie? I considered this Via a superior product until my last two purchases. Has Starbucks changed the method? Much more acidic and less robust and not "nutty". To me it now tastes like the "old" instant coffees that my grandparents used. Sorry...I will finish up the rest of my Colombia and hope that I can find another to takes its place. September 25, 2014
a real time saver On days when you're just too busy in the AM to use and clean your coffee press, Starbuck's Colombia Via is a real time saver as well as delivering in taste. It's full, rich flavor really jump starts your day and you simply cannot beat the convenience. I do wish this particular roast came in a decaf version. We find the French roast too bitter. I heartily recommend this wonderful instant puts many other so called high end brands of brewed coffees to shame. July 10, 2014
Great Smoky flavor Not much of a coffee drinker but I appreciate this flavor Smoky, dark and strong! March 4, 2014
Great coffee, but too expensive I wish I could give separate stars for taste and packaging. I would definitely give 5 stars for the taste, it's my favorite coffee and in fact, the only coffee I usually drink. I like the taste better than any regular brewed coffee or any instant coffee. However, since I drink it every day at home and not on the go, the current packaging doesn't make any sense to me, and it makes my coffee pretty expensive. I think it's high time Starbucks started selling this coffee in bulk packages. January 16, 2014
