Starbucks® Stainless Steel Logo Tumbler, 16 fl oz
Great Mug - Lid Leaks
I loved the original flip top lid to these mugs, this new slidding lip cover drips out the back side after drinking. It's a subtle leak, but creates a coffee ring on the bottom of the mug and wherever it sits. The base does a good job of keeping your beverage cool/hot and fits in my cars drink holders, and doesn't shift when the car turns, as it is shorter. Change the lid back and I'll give it 5 stars.
Starbuck's do you have the old-style flip top lids for sale? I need three.

another solid starbucks tumbler
My wife and I have had 4-5 different Starbucks SS mug/tumblers. All have worked well and do a great job keeping hot coffee hot for hours. I like the slider lid as does my wife.

The Starbucks brand damaged
Unfortunately, the travel mug is just not up to snuff. I had it leak on me around the lid edges, even though the seal looked to be more than sufficient.
A larger problem is that the walls of the mug are simply too thin to provide any real insulation. I compared the heat retention of this to a mug to one I bought at Starbucks here in Dallas about 3-4 years ago. The older mugs insulation is twice as thick. While not the best insulation on the market, it sure has this mug bested.
Sadly, there is nothing about the mug that I can recommend!

Very clean lines and comfortable
Love my new mug and keeps drinks hot or cold. Very easy to keep clean and doesn't scratch easily.

Great Coffee Tumbler
This tumbler keeps the coffe warm and the lid is easy to open. Unlike some other tumblers I have, the lid has not gotten a build-up in the sliding opening, which make my other tumbler lids difficult to open. The only bad part is that the cup portion is not dishwasher safe.
