Could be better The actual frother works well but, I am bothered by the fact that the lid is not sealed properly. Fluids got inside the plastic lid and are trapped inside. You cannot clean this. I think that is due to poor design. This is unsanitary. Plus, only after a month of using it the notch that has the electrical contact broke. I bought two and recommended them before fully seeing what happens to the frother after using it for a few months. There are less expensive electrical frothers available that are made much better. Frankly speaking, I am a huge Starbucks fan and assumed this product would have lived up to Starbucks standards but it does not. I would recommend buying a less expensive electrical frother. Milk is totally frothy I bought the frother for work, and now I will buy it for my home. I totally love how frothy it makes the mild. I just wish it made the milk hotter. October 5, 2014
We love our Frother! The first one we owned broke - we really don't know what exactly happened, it just stopped working - but after a quick phone call in, Starbucks immediately sent an e-mail with a pre-paid shipping label and then sent out a new one once they received the broken one. This second one has been working like a charm and I feel it makes all the difference when making Lattes or Caffe Mistos. My husband enjoys using it for his coffee too and occasionally we even use it to make hot chocolate. Great product, great company. ;) September 15, 2014
Great cappuchino This is my third frother. The first died after two+ years , which in my mind was reasonable. The second stopped working after a month and Starbucks kindly replaced it. There is a small error in the construction, as milk sticks in only one area of the bottom of the frother. One must remove this after each use. All this being said, love this little frother for my cappuchino and for making the very best hot chocolate in the universe. Works so much better than the steam wand on my espresso machine for that creamy foam. August 13, 2014
Great steamer This unsuspecting little machine makes great steamed milk whether with half and half, regular, or 2% milk. Great for soy milk too. I'm now going to see how it does with coconut milk. Great purchase for the stay-home latte maker. August 11, 2014
