Quality Issues with the Pour-Over
The design is great but the manufacturing process has quality issues. Like many other buyers whose Reviews I read, the base of my product is warped and will not sit flat on a coffee cup. Why does Starbucks, known worldwide for Quality, continue to send out defective pour-overs? If is a sale price on a defective item, advertising text should so state. The product is usable but care must be taken not to tip over the pour-over. However, even flawed as it is, the product is the best I've seen available. That includes the pour-over/coffee-cup set Starbucks sells in its stores. That pour-over ONLY fits the cup that comes with it, and to my knowledge, additional cups cannot be purchased separately.

new pour-over not same as original
We love pour-overs! I bought 2 from starbucks several years ago. I left one at a relatives after visiting. I couldn't find it in the stores so I went online. When I recieved it I noticed it was a thinner material and now had the starbuck name on it. It was a different white color as well. I traded it for my old one I had left behind.

When the first of these pour-over brewers arrived, the bottom was severely warped, and it rocked back and forth on top of all of my cups. I contacted customer service, and a replacement was immediately dispatched to me. It just arrived yesterday, and it is just as warped. But it's warped in a different way, which leads me to believe it's a production problem rather than a design flaw. Perhaps some of these brewers are well-produced and sit properly on top of cups, just not the two I tried. The brewer still makes a fine cup of coffee, but the instability as a result of poor manufacturing is not enjoyable.

When I saw this online I couldn't wait to get it and try it out. I received the order pretty fast, in 2 days, which I was very happy about. I like the look and design of the brewer , but I felt that the coffee strains too fast, but it was still good. I only use it occasionally. One slight negative note I have to add is that the original brewer I received , the bottom design, the curving of it was slightly off, so it would not sit flat even on top of my cup. When I called Starbucks, they were great and very accommodating about it. They just shipped me another brewer at no charge to me at all. Now that's great customer service!!! Thanks Starbucks!

I love the pour- over-brewer, my traditional coffee maker took up lots of counter space...not a problem anymore. Extremely happy!
