I purchased this as a gift for my elderly father-in-law who likes coffee, but had stopped making it. Brewing even a partial pot seemed wasteful to him, and didn't seem worth his effort. This was the perfect answer! He now makes coffee every morning -- to his exact taste -- and it takes virtually no time, effort, or clean-up.
I love this type of brewer as it allows me to keep a clean system. No hidden pipes to get clogged with mold or whatever. The one I received has an un-level base so it rocks a bit on my mugs but that's a minor issue.
Sometimes I want to 'brew' a single cup of coffee. Normally, I grind my beans and make a full pot, as we are all coffee drinkers here! But there is no way I would buy a Keurig or anything like that #razor blade marketing# for one cup #or any cups#. I like fresh ground and I like to not spend a fortune for my coffee #well more than I do already#!! This one cup drip is perfect and the coffee of course always tastes great!
The bottom is warped so it wobbles on top of the cup. An accidental bump can knock it off the cup. Other than that I like using it to make a single cup of coffee for myself. I purchased one in store years ago that didn't have the warped problem, it just started cracking after a while.
I love using my Pour-over dripper. Im the only one in my house to drink coffee so it was always a hassle to try and make coffee with a standard coffee maker. I love the ease of the pour-over and it's great to be able to make only one cup at a time.
My wife got me the #4 version of this for Christmas - I love it. I can make a quick cup after dinner - no fuss. And the taste is addictive - one of the best tasting ways to make coffee I have ever used.
I'm pleased with the ease of use of the brewer and the ability I now have to use and enjoy the bags of Starbucks coffee I've received as gifts. Thanks for making a quality product.
I sat it on its cup and it tipped over and it broke.
Very easy and makes a great cup of coffee.
Works best with #4 filters.
Love this. Bought one for home and one for office. Easy to use and the coffee tastes great.
