Stainless Steel Sipping Tumbler, 20 fl oz
Not made for hot coffee but could be.
I bought this tumbler without knowing that it was not for hot beverages. The problem is that heat affects the straw seal and it leaks. However, I have a green 20 oz. stainless steel tumbler that I bought last year and its standard lid works fine on the gold tumbler. Starbucks should offer a standard lid to replace the straw lid; preferably free for pickup at Starbucks stores.
I recommend this tumbler only if you have a standard lid to use for hot beverages.

My mother had bought me this tumbler since she had opened it "packaging" she had taken out the care guide. I thought it was perfect it had a straw, beautiful designs etc. After a WEEK it started to leak uncontrollably, it would stand up straight still leak. I thought it was just the cup and that there was something wrong with it when I got it, so I went back to this local Starbucks and exchange one for a new cup. This time I read that care guide and I saw that this cup was not meant for hot beverages... And yet it's a COFFEE CUP! After two weeks with my tumbler it's started to leak AGIAN, it leaked even worse than the first cup! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TUMBLER

Great mug for the price, but . . .
The straw in this cup is about 1 inch too short! If you plan to use the lid you may need to purchase a piece of tubing and cut it an inch longer than the one provided.

Advertise a Cold Cup with Hot Coffee? Epic Fail
I bought this cup at Starbucks yesterday, because it was gold, venti in size, gold, had a straw...did I mention it was gold? I thought it was the perfect cup and didn't hesitate to buy it. Here comes the but...But when I opened the cup this morning to wash it out before going to get my monring coffee I read the insert for care instructions and it said do not use with hot coffee. Excuse me, what?! The reason I purchased the gold venti cup that matches my gold card, was for my morning coffee. Then to come on here and see the cup advertised next to a pot of hot coffee? *scratches head* Sad to say, I'll have to return it today, because I have several cold cups.
