Stainless Steel Ripple Tumbler, 16 fl oz
No Spills or Leaks, Holds Temperature
I have many Starbucks tumblers and travel mugs. This is the best for no leaks and spill prevention of all the lids I have used thus far. It is also the easiest to drink from as well. Yes, it is difficult to open, and close, at first. Not anymore :-)
I have used this tumbler for hot and cold beverages and it has retained the original temperature for as long as four hours. Impressive.
I love the non-slip bottom. I like the texture of the tumbler and the color is fine.

Easy to hold, a challenge to get used to lid
Overall a great mug. I like the non-slip bottom, and the pattern on the side that makes it easy to grip the mug. As with other reviews, I find the lid difficult to open. On the flip side, I love the seal of the lid, and have learned the technique to open without spilling. Easy wide mouth opening of lid is easy to drink from and easy to clean.

Good design but Bad lid.
When this tumbler first came to me, I couldnt open the lid. I tried it many times and finally I did it with hot water. Now I can open it with two hands no hot water. I guess it is quite hard for women. But it seems to be safe for suddenly popping up. I love other things like design, colour, durability and rubber pad but lid.
Sorry for poor English but I hope it helps you to decide to purchase this.

Horrible, unless you like luke-warm drinks.
As soon as you pour a beverage into the tumbler you can feel the heat/cold through the sides. The lid takes two hands to open and I do not expect the double hinge on it to last long. Of the 5 styles of Starbucks tumblers that I've owned, this one ranks dead last.

Couldn't be happier
Was iffy when I first picked this up, but I needed a new caffeine delivery system (the old S/B mug finally lost its seal after several years of daily abuse). Didn't see any I liked better, so I bought it. After using it, I really like it.
Didn't like the ripple form factor at first (too artsy for me), but found it does make it easier to grasp.
The green finish matches the camo pants I usually wear to SB (shooting for the dumbest all-time reason here. A fashion reason? From a guy?! Are you kidding?;)).
The wide dispensing aperture makes drinking way easier.
The seal is very strong. Although it's probably not recommended, I can lay it on its side with no leaking. The thing's a cork. The downside of course is how hard it is to open the drinking lid, as another reviewer discovered. When I first tried to open it, I thought there must be some lock I was missing. Turned out it's just really snug. Now that I know this, it's not a problem. This is not a mug for someone with weak thumbs, but high-performance for someone who does.
