Stainless Steel Clip Tumbler with Handle, 16 fl oz
Product needs work
I agree with the other reviewers on how difficult the lid is to unscrew. Indeed several times, I've ripped the sip flap off the top while struggling to make the lid budge. Over the past 8months, the cap has only gotten harder to unscrew. It usually takes me a few minutes to get it unscrewed... and I'm a rock climber. In addition, the handle popped off last week... rust was on the weld spots. I'll be taking it into a store to see if they will exchange it for another model. I'm pretty disappointed in a $20 tumbler making it less than 8months.

Great tumbler but handle destined for breakage
The actual coffee containment on this unit is rock solid - never had a drop come out once it was sealed and closed. I noticed that the seal on the cap was actually incredibly good - so good in fact you end up using the handle as leverage to loosen it since it creates a bond like some kind of superglue.
Using the handle as leverage leads to it inevitably snapping off - but its only natural to use it. I'm left with a very love/hate relationship due to it.
So basically the tumbler is fantastic. Takes abuse, keeps drinks warm or cold VERY well, but the handle is less durable. 3.5-4 stars out of 5 i'd give it.

Keeps Coffee Hot
I really like this mug. It keeps the beverage very hot (for hours) and the clip handle helps when your hands are full. I understand the complaints about the spout not lining up well for drinking. I find if I start to screw it on with the spout 180 out for the side I want it on and finesse it then it lines up perfectly. I hold it with my right hand and have had no trouble with the alignment. I too don't mind the drink opening size as I don't want a scalding mouthful of coffee; it is just right. I do agree that the lid is hard to open; especially after it being on all day. Its almost as if it develops a vacuum. It takes a good twist to get the seal broken but the up side is that the mug doesn't leak. I only buy the SS mugs and only the ones that are one piece inserts. I found that the ones with a seam at the top of the mug tend to get water between the liner and the mug and then it goes stagnant and smells. I had to return a different style for this reason. For those who have had trouble returning a product without a receipt, I suggest you contact customer service and explain the problem. I have had amazing success by reaching out to them. They come through every time. (I think the problem is with the individual store and their unwillingness to process a return). It is obvious the product is a Starbucks item and who is to say it wasn't a gift?

Hard to screw lid onto cup correctly. Hole does not end up in right place. My old Starbucks cup which was similar was the perfect cup for me. I will be sending this one back.

Good So Far
I bought this cup in spite of the earlier negative reviews. So far it has worked quite well. I don't feel the mouth hole is too small, I don't want a huge swig of boiling liquid. Also I have had no problems with the quality of workmanship. Perhaps the other reviewers put it in the dishwasher? My only complaint is that the clip is a bit hard to unhook, I have long nails and it is difficult to get a grip to squeeze the part you need to unhook.
