The bronze finish and mirror polish gives this stainless steel desktop mug its classic look.
But where the coffee mug really shines is in its features: a wide base and no-slip rubber grip bottom for stability, a press-on lid with silicone seal to help prevent spills, and an ergonomic rubber handle that's great for gripping. Plus, it has a double wall to help keep beverages warmer longer. It's ideal for enjoying coffee or tea at home or work. Starbucks name on side. Holds up to 14 fl oz. Hand wash only. Do not microwave.

I needed a shorter travel mug for the new machines at the local gas station. This is perfect! The double-wall construction is great, I don't feel the heat on the outside.
Unfortunately I am 50 miles from a Starbucks so I have to "make do."
I have three of these mugs - one in bronze, one in silver, and one in white. They are my favorite mugs of all.
However, I did have to use a drill to make the vent hole larger because it kept getting clogged and then coffee didn't want to come out.
Note that it doesn't fit in any car cup holder either, it's too big around.
But for use in the office or home, it's just about perfect. Keeps coffee hot for A LONG TIME!
This is a very attractive mug. The lid is so tight that you only have to worry about spilling if you want to remove it when your mug is full. I think it says hand wash... I don't, I put it in the dishwasher and it still looks and works great.
I bought this mug at full price at my local Starbucks because I loved the look, feel and capacity. I had them fill it at the store and drove to work. Sitting at my desk I noticed a small clinking noise each time I tilted to cup to get a drink. It made me wonder if there were something hard inside my coffee hitting and sliding against the stainless steel interior. I cautiously drank the rest of my coffee, hoping not to swallow some long lost artifact. I found nothing inside and the clinking continued. I guess there has to be some thing loose and hard between the layers of the double-wall steel. Doesn't affect the drink, but it's infuriating to hear every time you sip.
Also, the mug will not, does not and has absolutely no chance of fitting into any car cup holder. I've tried it in both of my cars, three other friend's cars and not once has it fit. In fact, the mugs ill fitting design has caused me to spill its contents 4 times. With no closure on the open aperture mouth piece, nothing stopped coffee from cascading into my car.
When drinking there is a strange vacuum effect that keeps the coffee from coming out sometimes. I can only assume that's because of the very tiny vent hole at the top, coupled with the small drinking hole.
I love Starbucks, and most of their mugs. I have a collection of them. However, this one is a DO NOT BUY!
I totally love it! It looks as good as it works!! -
I have this mug in every color. It's just the right size for my coffee
The 14oz is the right amount for a cup that remains on my desk an extended period of time. I can focus on my work without having to rise and refill. It also looks like a 1920's mug which gives it that luster from days long gone.
