Raw Finish Stainless Steel Tumbler, 16 fl oz
We love the way the light catches this 16-fl oz stainless steel tumbler with industrial finish. The cool, rugged look complements the coffee tumbler's practical functionality. The double-walled, vacuum-sealed stainless steel tumbler retains heat, helping to keep beverages warm while hands stay cool and comfortable. Slightly concave in shape and featuring the Starbucks name near the top, the coffee tumbler comes with a convenient flip-top, snap-lock lid. Hand wash only. Do not microwave.

I loved this tumbler, up to a point. When I bought my first one within three weeks I had to take it back to get a replacement because the tab popped off and would not stay attached. Starbucks was great and replaced it without any problems. However, after six weeks and being very careful the pivot pin broke on one side that holds the tab to the lid. Not good! In both cases I did not drop or put any excess strain on the tab. It's just a poor design. That being said the tumbler keeps coffee hot for hours and hours. Just wish they'd fix the tab. Also, I wish they'd provide somewhere to go to order a new lid.
It was love at first sight and I was very happy to find out it has a double wall with a stainless steel interior. I was fortunate enough to see this at a store location and the one I purchased had already been handled, so seeing the "used" or "broken in" rustic look is very much part of the charm i love about it. Anyone who is fashionable and doesn't need the "pristine" look should definitely get this tumbler.
Function - unlike most people, I am not a big fan of the hot drinks and made this purchase as a reusable water/drink carrier. I can fill it with ice first thing in the morning and refill it with water a good 5-6 times. Six hours later, I still have ice in the tumbler and my water is never luke-warm. I can't wait for winter to get here to try it out with hot drinks.
Now when I leave the house it is on my check list of things to walk out the door with me.
It's a pretty strong tumbler, made of steel. But, it's got that "raw" unfinished look and even has bits of rust on it. Literally looks like the steel you'd find on the walls of an old warehouse, all faded and DIRTY looking. Reminds me of tarnished silver jewelry that people like to call a "nice patina". I like my things shiny, not ancient looking. Bought it for a gift and some people like that look because they think it's "cool". Its slender compared to other tumblers and needs to fit into a pouch on the side of a bag. We'll see if the person I bought it for will like it. Would rate it higher if it wasn't so distressed looking.
