Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew Italian Roast, 50 count
Great quick cup of coffee.
The via Italian roast is great hot or cold and so convenient to make.

Skeptics: just try it!
I'll admit, I was not happy when I first heard of VIA hitting the Starbucks world, but that soon changed once I tried it. I spent 8 years of my life working/managing Starbucks locations and during the taste test, I couldn't tell the difference between the whole bean and VIA. Try it. You'll like it, too.

I only drink coffee in the winter since it makes me feel hot.. I love a strong cup of coffee. This is strong. It doesn't cause indigestion. I bought it last year and found the batch last year to be rich smooth almost chocolaty and the perfect cup of coffee. This year I bought more. because I loved it so much but it tastes different. It has a more fruity, and sour. It is still nice and strong and doesn't give me indigestion, but it needs creamer to smooth out the taste. Last years batch was perfect with nothing added to it,. This year it isn't the best cup of coffee. i guess they are using different beans. I wish they would change the label when they change the flavor so I wouldn't assume I am getting the same product I got last time.

I remember instant coffee several years ago, and it didn't come close to what you got brewing it yourself. Lots has changed! The brewed coffee nowadays doesn't compare to a good Americano, and the Via Italian Roast compares very well to the Americano I made in my espresso machine. So, now I just use very hot water (185 degrees) and Via and I get my Americano in lots less time with lots less mess. The only downside is that its pretty expensive compared to homemade espresso.
