Hammered Barrel Mug, 14 fl oz
The hammered ceramic body and black reactive glaze make this barrel-shaped coffee mug a candidate for coolest mug in the office. The desktop mug's plastic press-in lid can also swivel open and closed, making it perfect for jumping from room to room, or meeting to meeting. Holds up to 14 fl oz. Dishwasher safe. Do not microwave.

Great coffee mug for the office, lid prevents spills and keeps drink hot. Nice size and really like the hammered body of mug.
Received it as a gift. Love the look and size and it fits perfectly on my mug warmer. Problem is coffee drips/ spills every time I take a sip no matter how I adjust my sip. Terrible design on the cover, which drew me in the first place.
I think this is a very masculine looking mug that any man would enjoy.
It's a very nice looking mug but it does not retain heat at all and the plastic lid was not designed very well. It's hard to drink with the lid on without having it drip all down the side. Very disappointed with these mugs!
Looks great, feels great, holds a good amount of coffee, but because of the air hole in the lid it just doesn't keep coffee hot for very long. Disappointing. When the opening to drink is closed, the air hole should close too. If Starbucks would add better insulating properties in the mug itself, and keep heat from escaping, this could be a real winner. As it currently stands, it's just average compared to other insulating mugs I have (Keurig makes an outstanding thermal mug that stays hot for hours).
Saw this quaint little item in the store, and then ordered online. It is larger than I had expected, and a bit heavy when full, but it makes a nice morning coffee nightstand item. The sip spout takes a bit of practice, but the fact that it closes all the way is great for keeping liquids hot. Terrific that it is microwaveable for refills on lazy weekend mornings.
The Hammered Barrel Mug is less than a satisfactory product. It leaks if you have the opening fully open. It is actually probably better without the lid on it. So, on the whole, it is moderately attractive but not a very good mug.
Purchased this as part of a set with a coffee press and coffee for Father's Day ... so thrilled with it! It's exactly as it's pictured ~ and everything I thought it would be as a Starbucks mug. Perfect size, hammered flat finish, easy to hold and even comes with a lid. So handsome!
I found the mug to be very substantial. Pretty design and looks great. But have the same problem as everyone else with the lid. Doesn't fit very well.
Like the others have said, I love the mug itself. But the lid is terrible. It leaks out of the corner of the opening when you take a drink. Which is a shame because I like the mug, but I also prefer a lid to help keep my coffee hotter longer. I can recommend the mug but not the lid. Anyone know if there is another lid design that is compatible with this mug?
