Decaf Caffè Verona®
A passion for the culinary romance of Italy inspired this seductive, full-bodied blend of Latin American and Asia/Pacific coffees, with Italian Roast added for depth. This decaffeinated version is rich and well-balanced with a dark cocoa texture and a roasty sweetness.

I have drank many many different selections of coffee over the years. After having suffering multiple years from heart palpations which caffeine makes it worse. I thought I would have to give up coffee altogether. Yes, even decaf is a factor for me. After trying this blend for two days straight and not having any effect from it, I enjoyed it even more. Dark roast coffees are suppose to have less acidity, so maybe that's one of the reasons. Caffe Verona blend has a smooth, sweet, and I did taste the hint of chocolate, later to find out that it is blended with cocoa!! Wish they sold it in the stores.
If you're going to drink decaf coffee, Decaf Caffe Verona beans make the best decaf coffee. I like a rich, dark coffee (French roast when I drink caffeinated) and have had trouble finding decaf beans I liked. I use a french press with steamed milk - delicious.
Health issues (Type II Diabetes, DVT's, etc) make it NOT a good idea to ingest caffine. So...I searched high & low for the most tolerable decaf. A nightmare until I discovered Decaf Caffe Verona. Hands down the absolute BEST decaf coffee - EVER! Have even served this to "leaded" coffee drinker dinner guests at my home (without telling them it's decaf) and they RAVE about how good it is. And of course want to know what it is & who makes it. Sometimes I tell 'em and sometimes I don't. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff - made in a coffee press of course.
I love the rich, bold flavor of Decaf Cafe Verona. I have never had a decaf that I enjoyed more.
I have unfortunate "issues" with caffeine - like hyper-heart beats and the inability to sleep for 24 hours, so I drink decaf coffee. Decaf Caffe Verona is a perfect blend of robust and subtle flavors. It is perfect. Could you please make it available in the local Starbucks again? Please? PRETTY PLEASE?
Love this coffee with sweet things: steamed milk and sugar, special syrups, or straight up.A shot is divine on top of gelato and served in a wide mouth cup with small spoons. Good in coffee maker for after-dinner drinks. Goes well with all kinds of desserts. That said, I have yet to ever see it in a Starbucks store. I am not keen on ordering and paying the extra shipping. So I wait for sales and such.
There is no way you would know that this is a decaf coffee except from the label. It is as good as the regular Verona. They are my favorites
Of the few bold decaf coffee beans Starbucks sells, this is by far our favorite. While we enjoy decaf Sumatra and the seasonal blends, we especially love the taste and aroma of the Decaf Caffe Verona. My husband and I are coffee hounds, but cannot handle too much caffeine as we get older, so we use decaf beans from lunchtime on. I am so disappointed that decaf Verona is not available in Starbucks stores or on the grocery store shelves. PLEASE consider carrying it in the stores once again. A Valentine's promotion (ala Romeo and Juliet) would be a great reintroduction theme!
Verona is one of your very best coffees and we love both regular and decaf. Can only find ground decaf in retail stores, but nothing of whole bean in stores or Starbucks. Gotta do mail order, but would love to see it back in the stores. Decaf is really, really good. Don't forget it.
Delicious!! Dark and rich, full bodied, long finish
