It's everything I expected. Easy to set up, makes great coffee, and looks good. Have only had it a week, but we are dazzled. We are intermittently using a 'my k-cup' filter to use up our existing supply of coffee. It is easy to switch out the parts at a moments notice. Have not experienced dripping or grounds while using 'my k-cup' as others have reported. Read the instructions and execute accordingly. For the price, wish the 'my k-cup' had been included. Others have mentioned the high price for the machine at Starbucks, and I agree. Wish they would have put it on sale once in a while... I have been looking forward to owning the B70, and am not disappointed. The 5 size options are worthwhile, in my opinion.
I love that I can do different sizes. I like my coffee very strong so I make it with the smallest size so its stronger and use a darker roast. It can be weak if you make a large cup for just one Kcup. I would use one kcup for every 6 ounces to start.
Everything I made in this tasted completely watered down because the tea or coffee doesn't even seep. The water just flows through the pod and you get a very bland and watered down "flavor". The only good thing about it is that it's easy to use. I'm glad I bought the Verismo system so I can finally throw out this piece of junk.
My husband and i are both Starbucks Partners and we looooove this machine. it takes me two minutes to make myself a drink (while i am still half asleep) to sip on during my commute to work. then by the time i clock on i am actually awake! very easy to use and work. i love the temperature setting and the 5 size brew choice. i can do so much with it! using a reusable kcup we are not limited to the flavors already produced. i grind my favorite coffees (espresso, guatemala antigua, three region blend) on flat bottom and it makes the perfect cup of coffee and i dont even have to leave my house. yes!
I bought this when I bought my house 5 years ago. I use multiple times a day, absolutely love it! Consistently good coffe, convenient and quick, holds plenty of water, versatile- use it to make all sorts of drinks, easy to clean, and looks good :) One of my favorite kitchen appliances, definitely worth its counter space :)
Actually, I loved this one so much I have bought 4 more (not the same model) in the time since. One as gift for brother, one for bedroom nook, one for lab at work, and one for mom! If I had the money to spare, I would have bought all platnum editions, but the simpler models work well too.
Easy, easy, easy. Quickest way to a hot delicious cup of coffee, cold refreshing glass of iced coffee, tea, latte, espresso....whatever you crave is yours at the touch of a button!
The machine is great. It's quick and quiet. It's got five sizes of brewing but needs LARGER sizes. The largest cup it is set to brew is 12 oz. that's the smallest Starbucks size. So, I brew a 12 oz and then run it again on the medium to get my 20 oz cup filled. You'd think that buying it from Starbucks that at least Starbucks would include a sample pack of coffee, especially considering it's more expensive here than anywhere else. The only samples was the standard that Keurig throws in with any other machine. No Starbucks samples.
its a good machine, it takes up a good amount of counter space and it doesn't have a disposable container for the K-Cups. It also doesn't make espressos. Otherwise it great for brewed coffee and hot chocolate. The coffee is really hot. In the future if you don't want to buy K-Cups they sell a small cup adaptor to use regular ground coffee with the unit.
I love it. I had actually originally tried to get one of the less expensive Keurig, but unfortunately they were out of stock. I called Starbucks customer service, and the representative I spoke to was great. Sent me the machine overnight since they didn't have the one I wanted.
I couldn't be happier with the Keurig itself. brews quickly. It's quiet. And its beautiful machine. I actually was in an office and used one of the lower end Keurig machines, and after using this one... it was torture! The other model was loud, ugly, splattered my coffee off the side of the cup, and it took forever.
I'd highly recommend the B70. Very satisfied with it!
I'm very pleased with the Keurig B70 so far. I make a couple of 'travel size' cups every day using Verona or House Blend coffees. It's great to have the option for different sizes of drinks and the large reservior is very convenient. I'm looking forward to making iced coffee if the weather ever warms up.
May not be the quite the same as getting a brew at a Starbucks but then I don't have to drive 45 minutes either... a very acceptable compromise.
