Assam Glass Teapot by Bodum®, 2-cup
A modern twist on the traditional teapot, the Assam Glass Tea Pot is made from durable, heat-resistant and dishwasher-safe borosilicate glass and features Bodum's innovative tea press system. Its durable plastic filter and dual plunger/lid make it perfect for brewing up to 2 (8 fl oz) cups of loose-leaf tea. Just add hot water, brew to your liking, and then press down on the plunger.
The press compresses the tea leaves below the infusion holes in the strainer, completely stopping the brewing process so you don't end up with over-brewed, bitter tea. There's no need to remove the filter, and there's no mess. Beautiful.

Heat-resistant borosilicate glass is durable and dishwasher safe.

The final component of a Christmas present for my daughter-in-law.
I like the weight of it and the design of it. I like the fact that it is dishwasher safe. It is very easy to use, you can control how strong you want the tea to be.
I love this teapot because the infuser and press makes great tea and it's the perfect size. The teapot is also of a very good quality.
This truly makes two full cups. I was very suprised for the size. Made of a thicker glass than most Teapot. A truly great little Teapot for two.
I have owned this teapot for three months now and use it every morning.
The teapot is made of high-quality glass that pretty durable for a fragile material. The teapot does a fine job of keeping the tea warm over a meal or an hour or two. Also, the 17 oz. size is perfect for a single person to enjoy a serving-and-a-half of tea. (Assuming you drink 12 oz. per serving.)
The infuser fits gently inside of the teapot and is made of a clean stainless steel material that does not add a metallic taste to your beverage. Also, the lid to the infuser does a fine job of stopping the steeping or brewing process after it is pushed down fully.
I rated the value at a three only because I personally think Starbucks overprices their accessory products. I bought this particular product because the other identical ones sold at grocery stores are not as durable. I have also found that the teapots sold at grocery stores have infusers that do not stop the brewing process after they are pushed down.
If you buy this product, you will be paying a good price for a great product. If past performance is indicative of future performance, I highly recommend this teapot for purchase.
