Bad design I received my order, opened up the package with the coffee press, proceeded to unscrew the top to take out the instructions and the inner cup came away from the outer liner. Poorly designed and useless as I had to return it. Will not reorder another. September 19, 2014
Cheap rubber gasket/flange Perhaps the most important part of this press has a serious flaw. Surrounding the press plate is a rubber flange. Quality coffee presses uses the mesh screen with a spring like "spiral" fixture around the outside of the press plate to hold the screen in place. The big problem here is the rubber flange allows large coffee grinds to pass through to your coffee you will drink, leaving lots of grit for you to chew on. The rubber flange also wears out fast and becomes even worse over time. Spend the money on a quality portable press, or go to some place like the "Espresso Zone" online and buy yourself the correct parts to make this coffee press the way it should be. Other than this critical flaw, everything else is great. Coffee does not leak, the cap and drinking spout cap are snug and do not leak. September 4, 2014
Attached to me! I can't stop using this! I love my French press at home, but I get so bummed that; a. It doesn't all fit into my usual thermos. b. I don't get to use it as often as I would like to. I have used this everyday (with the exceptions of the weekends when I have more time to sit back and enjoy my coffee instead of constantly being on the go.) I need to buy a backup incase I wear it out. August 5, 2014
Press not long enough Justing how much coffee to put in is not clear. The press should be longer so you can press the coffee down firm . To much residue leaves a bitter taste. July 21, 2014
Perfect for regular conditions. The threads have a great seal. Contents stay hot/cold longer than any hand held insulated device I have ever used. I really like how the cap secures in the open position and has a valve port (unlike other versions I had in the past). My only complaint is when I'm traveling in unstable conditions with a topped off contents, liquid tends to splash out a little from the press section of the cap. This is rare, and overall I would still recommend it and purchase it again. July 7, 2014
