#2 Paper Cone Coffee Filters
I started using the pour-over brewing system a couple of weeks ago and out of the 15 or so filters I've used I've had the seam tear on roughly half of them during brewing, sending the grounds cascading down into my cup. This morning I had to filter the coffee two additional times before I was able to get a filter that wouldn't rip. And unlike the other reviewer, they are ripping while brewing, not when taking them out. I'd find another brand to use.

Coffee filters easy to use
I use Starbucks' #2 Cone Coffee Filters to make a single cup of coffee for an after-dinner drink. The #2 filters are very easy to use with the Starbucks' Pour-Over Brewer.

Simple, straightforward filter that works well.
Let's be honest, it's just a cone filter. It's kind of hard to mess up a cone filter, right? Well, you'd be surprised. That's why I like this filter. It works and it works well. I also liked that it is unbleached paper which is typically more environmentally friendly than bleached paper. If you follow the directions there should be no surprises when using these filters. And, at the end of the day, isn't that what we want from a coffee filter?
Just make sure this is the right sized filter for your needs. I use these filters in conjunction with my Starbucks pour over brewer and the fit is perfect. If you are using the filter in your counter top coffee brewer then you will likely need a larger size. After all, you gotta have the right tools for the job.
